Spartan Kids race distances include a 1/2 mile, 1 mile, or 2-mile race.
1/2 Mile of varied terrain including crawls under or through obstacles, climbs over mud hills, nets and walls, balance beam, modified spear throw, and natural obstacles.
Age Range: 4 to 6yrs. & Special Spartan Inclusive Heat (Ages 4+)
1 Mile includes all obstacles of the 1/2 Mile Course with added mileage on varied terrain including added obstacles such as a heavy carry, traverse wall, inverted wall, and slip wall.
Age range: 7-9yrs.
2 Mile Non-competitive racers will complete all of the obstacles of the half-mile and one-mile course along with additional heavy carries, 7’ walls, and a rope climb.
Age range: 9 to 14yrs.
2 Mile Competitive racers will complete the two-mile course with obstacle attempts mandatory and 15 burpee penalties for all failed obstacles. 2 Mile Competitive racers will compete for awards, including a podium ceremony, and photo ops with the adult Elite racers.
